Bachelor of Optometry (B Optom)
Program decsription :
The goal of the Bachelor of Optometry program is to produce competent and community oriented optometrists who are capable of providing vision care, identify ocular and related systemic illnesses to be referred to medical practitioners, while maintaining the highest ethical standards of profession.
The graduates of B Optom program will be able to provide primary eye health care in the field of visual and optical science, identify optometric complaints, measure visual functions, prescribe and fit appropriate visual aids, and plan community based vision care services.
