Bachelor of Perfusion Technology (B Perf Tech)

Program Description :

Bachelor of Perfusion Technology program aims to produce qualified perfusion technologists who can provide extracorporeal ciruculation to patients undergoing major cardiothoracic, vascular and transplant
surgeries, in order to artificially support and temporarity replace patient’s respiratory and circulatory systems.

The graduates of B Perf Tech program will be able to operate heart lung machine (HLM), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), cell salvage tchiniques etc. during closed or open heart and vascular surgeries.
