Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (BSc MIT)
Program Description :
The aim of Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology course is to produce radiography graduates who are skilled in performing all types of general radiography techniques like X-ray, CT scanning, MRI
scanning and other digital imaging.
The graduates of BSc MIT program will be able to perform all routine and special X-ray examinations, perform all CT and MRI examinations, demonstrate technical knowledge and skills on intervention radiology, maintain X-ray equipment and accessories in good working order and be able to notify authority of any breakdown or replacement needed, maintain the highest quality of radiographic images, provide adequate care to the patient in the department of radiology, demonstrate basic knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, demonstrate sound knowledge on radiation protection in the department of radio-diagnosis, demonstrate sound knowledge of recent advances in radiology and newer medical imaging modalities.
