1 Day Workshop Seminar on Waste Management and Hygiene Practices for Cleaning Staff

A workshop seminar was conducted on February 27, 2026, at Maharajgunj Medical Campus for the cleaning staff to strengthen knowledge and practical skills related to workplace hygiene and safety.

The session focused on essential topics such as proper waste management procedures, correct hand-washing techniques, and the appropriate use of protective items including aprons, head caps, and other safety measures required in healthcare environments. The program aimed to enhance cleanliness standards and promote a safer hospital and campus environment.

The workshop was facilitated by distinguished resource persons: Khem Bahadur Karki, Prem Basel, Gambhir Shrestha, Tanweer Ahmad Mikrani, Namrata Karki, Smriti Pant, Shailaja Bhattarai, and Sanat Kumar Dahal.

A total of 50 participants, including the source persons, attended the program. The event provided an interactive platform where staff members learned practical approaches to maintain hygiene standards in daily operations.
